To say Lynne and I are delighted with our decking and garden make over is a gross understatement. When we finished our house renovation Tony gave us a very competitive price for the decking at the back of the house. The project evolved to include a new paved area beyond the decking.
Tony and his team worked continuous long hours through horrific winter weather to deliver their commitment.
Later, when we wanted a gazebo built at the side of the house the obvious choice was Macdeck. Again the team excelled. The resulting shelter has allowed us to make much more effective use of our outside space.

We are really pleased that we chose Macdeck to transform our tired and ugly concrete patio. Tony’s design using the Macdeck system has given our garden the ‘Wow factor’ using a mixture of sandstone slabs, porcelain tiles, glass/mesh panels, treated wood, stone highlights and concealed lighting!
From our initial contact with Tony, through the survey, planning and implementation phases the Team were extremely professional and innovative. It was a pleasure to see everyone working together seamlessly and under some adverse weather conditions - they were always cheerful, tidy, punctual and respectful of us, our neighbours and the surroundings.Using the Macdeck system only one small skip was required, and this was mainly filled with our old fir trees, so we were very pleased not to be sending very much to landfill considering this was a five-week project.
It is great that Tony continues to support youngsters in the joinery trade employing two apprentices, who attend college in conjunction with hands on training.
The other trades who worked with the Team provided an excellent service as well - these were McNairs Ltd (Materials), DES (Tiler) and Wilson Glaziers (Glass panels).

Our plan for a new house had one major problem. It was to be built on a flood plain.
We knew the house could be built on stilts or piles but how would we solve the garden problem? Then Macdeck came up with a brilliant set of plans. It raised areas above the flood and created clever walkways to different garden rooms.
The brilliance was in the use of the Macdeck System.
It gave us so many ways to create new surfaces. Yes, wood is good, but we can now have gravel, stepping stones, and proper stone paving… all raised above the flood areas. We were now able to have safe, dry seating corners, s summer house and even a secure fish pond.
Our garden floods about 4-5 times a year up to just below the raised garden as planned. It looks stunning, whether very wet or dry! So many friends have asked how they could do the same.
Everything is ramped so that we can move wheelbarrows and heavy garden stuff with ease.
We even have a small “floating” lawn!
What was an unmanageable flooding waste ground is now our outdoor home. It has changed our lives!

We contacted Macdeck Landscaping when we had the idea of creating a decked area at the bottom of our garden, we wanted to turn an uneven and almost unused area of the garden into a space we would use.
Tony listened to our ideas and suggested he went away with our thoughts and come back with a design. What he came back with was a brilliant concept way above our expectations. This included a sunken deck incorporating a fire pit. We now step down from the raised decking into a large square bench seated are with a large fire pit in the middle. We have sat 12 people in here on many a clear winters night.
I would highly recommend Tony and Macdeck for their design and delivery. The boys even put up a shed for me at the end of the week after they had finished the job, as a wee extra!
